Privacy Policy
Tasty food calorie counter — a calorie tracker that analyzes meals from a
photo, text, or voice description. Last updated: 2026.
We respect your privacy and collect the minimum needed to run the app. No account is
required — we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number.
What we process
- Meal photos, text, and voice recordings that you submit for analysis are sent
to our AI provider to estimate calories and macros. They are used only to produce the
result and are not stored on our servers after processing.
- An anonymous device identifier (a random value, not tied to your identity) —
used to track your free daily measurements, reward credits, and subscription status,
and to protect the service from abuse.
- Purchase status — when you subscribe, Apple confirms the transaction to us so
we can unlock unlimited use. We never see your payment details.
- Your meals, history, and goals are stored locally on your device and are
not sent to our servers.
Third-party services
- AI provider (OpenRouter / Google Gemini) — recognizes food from your photo,
text, or voice input.
- Advertising network (Unity LevelPlay / ironSource) — shows optional rewarded
ads to earn extra measurements. It may collect product-interaction and advertising
data and use your device's advertising identifier, only if you allow tracking in the
system App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- Apple — processes subscription payments through the App Store.
Tracking
We ask for tracking permission (ATT) only for advertising. If you decline, the app still
works; rewarded ads may be less relevant. You can change this in iOS Settings at any time.
Storage and deletion
Local data is removed when you delete the app or use "Clear all" in Settings. The server
record tied to your anonymous identifier holds only counters and your subscription expiry.
To request deletion of that record, contact us below.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
